Powerful Brownie Treat

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cups cricket powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cricket powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just combined.

  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.  Enjoy!
